Reconsidering…Maybe Not Just Yet

So after almost 2 weeks I have to say I’ve gotten used to sleeping on a couch and dealing with getting locked out of an apartment which I only pay partial rent and have no key to actually get into the place. Only downside I’m having now is getting back on my feet, as I’m depleting not only my savings now, but also my credit card and checking account. I think I may have to reconsider what I do at the end of the week to relax, cause going to the bars when I plan on only spending a few bucks usually ends up turning into a couple of twenties.

On other recent news in my life, I’m not too sure if I’ll be able to handle my math course as the first test is this friday and I can’t really remember derivatives of trig functions. Also, it doesn’t help that I suck at any type of math that usually entails physics, engineering, or any other kind of real world application.

Well the second week of summer school is almost over so I can’t wait to finish summer school and probably end up working non-stop the second part of summer (July) to pay back my parents’ and get my savings, checking, and credit card built up.

College Drivers

I rarely do posts of complain or at least I try to refrain from it but this time I can’t. Last night some idiot who clearly can’t drive hit my car ripping off the front bumper of my car. I’m not going to lie I’m seriously pissed since I had recently gotten a paint job and something tells me I’m going to have to pay for a new bumper and place it on since the insurance will probably only cover a fraction of this “hit & run” incident.

Customer Service is Key

Customer service is key, out of all the products that I own or services that I have used it has been customer service that has managed to keep me with a company. I know in Texas there are a few services that are only in Texas such as my Bank and the Grocery store I go to. Just to list some companies so you can get a picture:

• HEB (Grocery)
• Frost Bank
• Apple
• Best Buy
• AT&T
• Discount Tires

There are more that I use but the main reason to go back to any of these companies is because of the great/excellent customer service each one provides to me. So it is true that Customer Service is the key to a successful business, minus being able to turn a profit.

Wrap up

My week in review: recently I have become a proud Ally at Texas State. The training was long but well worth it. After going though the training I felt as if I am now committed to educating or at least preventing people from discriminating against LBGQT. More recent events that have happen is one of my residents who is going sober did a poem during the open mic part of a poetry slam, which I have to say was pretty sweet. Also, I will finally be going to “church” on my own free will for once in my life. Church is in quotes though because the church I’ll be going to will not be the traditional church which is alright with me. There is one catholic church which I’ve been noticing and been curious about but to lazy to stop by and all. Anyway, my job as an Residential Assistant is stressful as I am just now learning to balance my school work with RA work and my personal life. I have to say I am thankful for having such a wonderful life and hope it continues to be wonderful everyday. One last thing to mention, if you go to Texas State University or live around the University please make the effort to hit up the first season game tomorrow as it will be an awesome football game.
